雏鸡对饲粮硒含量的反应和蛋氨酸对其反应的影响

摘    要:采用缺硒低蛋氨酸的玉米——豆饼型基础饲粮添加或不添加硒和(或)DL-蛋氨酸三次重复试验研究了雏鸡对饲粮硒含量的反应和蛋氨酸对其反应的影响.试验阐述了组织硒含量、全血谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶活力与饲粮硒含量之间的关系.观察了雏鸡在不同水平硒和蛋氨酸饲粮下的生产表现,测定了蛋氨酸对雏鸡缺硒疾病、组织硒含量和全血谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶活力的影响.试验结果为使微量元素硒在动物营养中合理应用提供了依据.


RESPONSES OF CHICK TO DIETARY SELENIUM AND THE EFFECTS OF METHIONTNE
Abstract:Three experiments were performed to study the responses of chick to dietary selenium and the effects of methionine on the responses using a corn-soy basal diet low in selenium and methionine supplemented with or without selenium as sodium selenite and/or DL-methionine. Results showed that the relationships of selenium contents in chick tissues and GSH-Px activity in blood to dietary selenium content depended on selenium level variation in diets. Linear relations were found when dietary selenium was below the threshold of physiological store of chick, and nonlinear relations were found when dietary selenium extended beyond the threshold. The safety extent of selenium requirment of chick appeared to be between 0.133ppm and 0.338ppm. The minimum toxic level of selenium was 1.038ppm, lethal level was above 20ppm. In normal chick, kidney contained the highest amount of selenium among all tissues measured, followed by small intestine, testis, liver, spleen, proventriculus, brain, feather, lung, gizzard, pancreas, heart, crop , blood, skeletal muscle and fat. With selenium-deficient diet, selenium contents in all tissues measured significantly decreased. However almost no change occurred in testicular selenium content. Under this condition, methionine supplementaion significantly decreased mortality rate and nutritional muscular dystrophy severity, but significantly aggravated exudative diathesis severity. When dietary selenium content was below the toxic level of chick, methionine supplementation considerably increased feed intake, weight gain and feed efficiency, and somewhat increased GSH-Px activity in blood, selenium contents in liver and kidney. When dietary selenium level was up to toxic amount, methionine supplementation did not alleviate chick mortality rate, and did not affect feed intake, weight gain, feed efficiency and GSH-Px activity in blood, but significantly decreased selenium contents in tissues measured.
