| 摘 要： | 颜色是大自然绚丽多姿的表象，颜色词是最富有表现力的语言，然而因为文化背景不同，颜色词必然也会留下民族特色的印迹，就英汉颜色词的蕴含意义进行对比，强调在跨文化交际中正确理解运用所不语言内容的文化意义的重要性。

| Abstract: | Colors display the splendid and gorgeous nature and words of color manifest great impressive power.However rooted in different cultural backgrounds, words of color are bound to take the brand of national characteristics. This paper makes a comparative study of the implicit meaning of the words of color in English and Chinese, thus showing the importance of understanding the cultural meaning of the foreign language in intercultural communication. |
