| Abstract: | Classical phenotypic characterisation and numeric analysis of whole-cell fatty acid patterns of twenty-one type strains of hitherto reported Riemerella anatipestifer serovars revealed that the type strain of serovar 20 does not belong to the species Riemerella anatipestifer sensu stricto and, therefore, it has to be excluded as a representative Riemerella anatipestifer serotype strain. |
