Abstract:The pH,organic matter,available nitrogen,available phosphorus and available potassium were investigated in tobacco-planting soil of Changting County from 2008 to 2009.The result showed that most of the soils were generally acidic,the pH was 4.31 before tobacco planting,and 4.42 after tobacco harvest.The content of organic matter was moderate,it was 26.33 g·kg-1 after tobacco harvest,higher than that before tobacco planting(24.69 g·kg-1).The content of available nitrogen was at the medium leve1 after tobacco harvest,which was the same as that before tobacco planting.The content of available phosphorus was rich,it was significantly increased after tobacco harvest(60.25 mg·kg-1) as compared with that before tobacco planting(44.18 mg·kg-1).The content of available potassium was significantly richer after tobacco harvest(324.87 mg·kg-1) than that before tobacco planting(75.17 mg·kg-1).Among different soil types,the pH was not significantly different,but the content of organic matter,available nitrogen,available phosphorus and available potassium was higher in yellow paddy,marl field,purple paddy,tidal sandy paddy.
