| Abstract: | In this paper, a new concept of stability for an excavator at various working conditions and its practical application were developed by the optimization approach. The most unstable posture of an excavator in a certain working condition was obtained by the method, which provided a theoretical foundation and an analytical means for stability analysis of an excavator. |
