| 摘 要： | 棉作为重要的纺织原料,在广西种植历史悠久,却从未得到研究重视.文章对于史载的“棉”的种类进行植物学分类,并结合纺织加工技术对古人所指“木棉”进行甄别.依据考古实物以及与云南和海南植棉情况的对比,推论出在春秋时期广西已经开始植棉,但是不普遍.其最初种植的种类为亚洲棉的多年生木本植物,随着棉向长江流域的扩展,演变为种植一年生的草本植物.通过对历史文献的梳理,追溯从三国到清代广西植棉发展的历程,还原其发展情况,对了解古代广西的纺织面貌和社会经济状况大有裨益.

| Abstract: | Cotton is an important textile material which has a long history in Guangxi but hasn＇ t received enough research attention.This article discusses the botanical classification of the ＂cotton＂ in historical documents,especially on the ＂Mu Mian＂ combining textile processing.On the basis of archaeological materials and comparing with Yunnan and Hainan,cotton is cultivated in Guangxi no later than Spring and Autumn Period but was not universal at that time.The original cotton in Guangxi is a woody perennial plant.When the cotton spread to the Yangtze River Basin,it evolved to annual herb plant.By collating the history of literature,this article traces the history of cotton cultivation in Guangxi from Three Kingdoms to Qing dynasties and aims to have a profound understanding on the ancient textile and social economy of Guangxi. |
