| Abstract: | Summary Infection withClavibacter michiganensis subsp.sepedonicus reduced transpiration and xylem function in potato plants (Solanum tuberosum) prior to and during wilting. Transpiration depression and subsequent wilting of infected plants appears to result from reduced xylem function. |
