| 摘 要： | 张箭先生在《〈金瓶梅〉、〈红楼梦〉之瓜子考》一文中，经考证认为明清小说《金瓶梅》,《红楼梦》中多次提到“瓜子”，是向日葵的子（葵花子），但是葵花子广泛应用于食用和榨油最早是在晚清。实际上该瓜子应该是西瓜的变种，子用西瓜的子，子用西瓜所产瓜子在明清流行程度很高，子用西瓜一般被称为打瓜或子瓜，该瓜子今天又被称为黑瓜子。

| Abstract: | Mr Zhang＇s paper ＂A Study on the Plum in a Golden Vase and Dream of the Red Chamber＇s Melen seeds＂, which thought the melon seeds repeatedly referred in these two novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties is sunflower seeds. But sunflower seeds was widely used in food and oil in the early Qing Dynasty. In fact the seeds should be watermelon＇seeds, for melon seeds from watermelon was ver- y high popularity in the Yuan Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the melon seeds have been called black seeds today. |
