| Abstract: | In order to avoid the repeated research on high molecular weight glutenin subunit （HMW--GS） of wheat and develop new research ideas on this field, this article expounds the nomenclature and genetic characteristics of HMW--GS in wheat and summarizes the research results of wheat HMW--GS contributions to wheat quality. |
