摘    要:1994年,从豫白和搬口白的杂交后代中选育出晚熟鲜食桃优良新品种八月香。其果实发育期130 d,在郑州地区成熟期为8月20日左右。果实近圆形,向阳面着鲜红到紫红色晕。平均果重168 g,最大果重286 g,果肉乳白色、硬溶质,风味浓甜,有香味,品质极上。丰产、稳产、耐贮运,具有较强的抗逆性。近年来已在全省范围内推广,新疆、四川、湖南、广西、浙江、山西、河北等省已引种栽培。

Abstract:Bayuexiang-the high quality, late mature variety,is a hybrid resulting from Yubai×Bankoubai.The fruit development period is about 130 d and the ripening date is on August 22 in Zhengzhou.The shape of fruit is round and the surface towards the sun is from bright red to dark red. The average fruit weight is 168 g and the biggest is 286 g. Its flesh is milk- white, melting, and hard, sweet and nice smelling. Its quality is excellent.This variety is a high- yield, good-storability and suitahility one and has been popularized in Henan province recently and it is being experimented in Xinjiang, Sichuan, Hunan, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Shanxi, Hehei, etc.
