Abstract:Key high-yielding cultivation techniques for a hybrid rice combination Jingfu 1 You 673 were discussed, in order to accelerate its extension and application and to implement the perfect integration of hybrid rice in elite variety and good cultivation techniques. Jingfu 1You 673 had an average grain yield of 489.9kg/667m 2 in two-year regional trials of Sanming city in Fujian province, 7.97% higher than that of control Shanyou 63 at significant level of 0.01, which both ranked the Second in two years. Its key high-yielding cultivation techniques were: sparse sowing, cultivating robust seedling, suitable transplanting time, rational planting density, fertilizer and water management, controlling nitrogen amount and increasing potassium fertilizer, improving root ability and avoiding lodging, and preventing disease, pest and weeds, especially in rice blast control.
