| Abstract: | Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus septic arthritis occurred in a dog following elective joint surgery for cranial cruciate ligament rupture. Resolution of the infection was assisted by using a surgically implanted absorbable gentamicin-impregnated sponge. |
