| 摘 要： | 通过查阅大量的历史资料，并两度造访台湾，纵深考察台湾咖啡的过去和现在。得出台湾早期引种咖啡的准确年代为1884年的结论．认为台湾咖啡早期引种扩种和后来形成特有的咖啡文化，与国外通商和日本占领统治台湾有关，也与台湾本土自身的特色和天时地利有关。

| Abstract: | A thesis, On the Origin, Development and Spread and Culture of Coffee, was written by Professor Zhang Jian, Sichuan University in 2006. It is pointed out that when and where China began to introduce and cultivate coffee and how the cultivation spread are not clear. Mentioned in Chinese Encyclopedia and Chinese Agricultural Encyclopedia, coffee was introduced to Taiwan in 1884 and introduced to Hainan in 1908, and later introduced to Yunnan, Guangxi and Fujian provinces. Based on a large number of documents, the author visited Taiwan twice and studied the past and present of Taiwan coffee. It is beyond dispute that the exact time of the early introduction of Taiwan coffee was in 1884. As for the early introduction and afforestation of Taiwan coffee and the later form of characteristic coffee culture, they are related to the foreign trade and the Japanese occupation of Taiwan. In addition, Taiwan has its own char- acteristics and favorable conditions. The cultivation of coffee in Fengtian Village, Hualian County has considerable influence in the coffee cultivation history of Taiwan. |
