| 摘 要： | 农民身份转化是现代化的必然要求，数亿农民的身份转化已成为关系中国现代化成败的重大问题。中国特殊的国情和独特的现代化发展道路，使中国农民身份转化面临诸多困境。首先，农民在现代化进程中的两难处境，造成了农民身份转化在方式选择上的困境；其次，农民身份的补给予性和二元社会结构，使农民身份转化背上了沉重的历史包袱和巨大的时代压力；再次，人口生产过程与现代化进程的错位形成了庞大的剩余劳动力，成为农民身份转化的巨大障碍。中国农民的身份转化，不仅有赖于经济发展的推动，更离不开农民自主性的发挥和国家制度创新的支持。

| Abstract: | Modernization surely requires transformation of farmers' status.The transformati o n of status of several hundreds million of farmers is critical to the success of modernization. Owing to China's special national conditions and the particular way of modernization, the transformation is confronted with many difficulties. F irstly, farmers are in a dilemma in the process of modernization, so it is hard for them to choose the correct way of their status transformation. Secondly, far mers'given status and the duality of the social structure bring the transformati on the heavy historical burden and the strong pressure of the times. Finally, th e dislocation between the process of birth and that of modernization leads to ma ssive number of surplus labor, which is also a large impediment to transformatio n of farmers' status. Chinese farmers' status transformation not only depends on the push from the economic development, but the full play of their own independ ence as well as the support of national system's advance. |
