学术期刊影响力影响因素实证研究

摘    要:为了优化科技期刊的办刊策略,提高期刊影响力,以影响因子表征期刊影响力,办刊人易调控的量化指标发表时滞、载文量为影响因素,建立影响因子与两因素的量化关系模型。以农业及涉农类高质量代表性18种期刊为例,通过影响因子归一化处理,使各期刊具有可比性,分析影响因子与发表时滞关系,基于载文量的区间划分,建立影响因子与发表时滞和载文量的关系模型,结果显示:发表时滞至少要缩短至350天(约1年)以内时,其变化才能对影响因子产生较明显的影响;影响因子的对数与发表时滞和载文量的对数呈二元一次线性关系,模型通过验证预测效果较好。随着载文量的增大,两因素对影响因子的决定程度由0.15增大到0.81,说明高质量期刊在稿件审核标准不降低的情况下,载文量越大,期刊的影响力受发表时滞及载文量的影响越大。因此,科技期刊应至少将发表时滞缩短至1年内,并根据期刊各自载文量所在的区间及此区间载文量与影响因子之间的关系调节载文量,提高期刊影响力。

Abstract:In order to optimize the running strategy of sci-tech journals and improve their influence, this study analyzed the relationship between journal influence, publication delay and quantity of papers by using influence factor as the index of journal influence. The agricultural journals were taken as an example. Impact factors were normalized to eliminate the influence of natural factors of journals such as popularity of a journal on the impact factors so that the journals were comparable. Then, models were established to quantify the relationship between normalized impact factors and publication delay (or publication delay and paper load). The normalized impact factor would not affected by publication delay until the publication delay was smaller than 350 d (about 1 year) at least. The logarithm of normalized impact factor changed with logarithm of paper load and publication delay following a linear function. According to the model, the normalized impact factor decreased with increasing the paper load when the paper load was between 300 and 700, otherwise, it increased with paper load. Therefore, we suggested to shorten the publication delay within 1 year at least and adjusted the paper load according to model in order to improve the influence of journals.
