Field experiments were conducted to study Low-carbon agriculture and build resource-saving, environment-friendly agriculture and promote the tobacco agriculture sustainable development and the production of tobacco leaves with specific characteristics. The experiments were based on different green manure application rates (7500, 15000, 22500, 30000 kg/hm2) to study the effects of ploughing ryegrass under soil on growth and development, yield and output value of flue-cured tobacco. The results showed that returning green manure could obviously regulate the growth and development of flue-cured tobacco, and promote the absorption, using and storage of mineral element by tobacco plants. The comprehensive index of the treatments returning green manure 22500-30000 kg/hm2 were better than others. In comparison with the control, the largest increase amplitude of dry matter accumulation, N accumulation, P accumulation, K accumulation per plant were 19.84%, 59.34%, 34.94%, 43.55% respectively. At the same time, returning green manure could obviously improve the related indexes of yield and output value, the largest increase amplitude of high and middle quality tobacco leaves, yield and output value were 16.13%, 21.31%, 11.51% respectively.
