| Abstract: | In order to understand the reproductive performance of large-sized brood parents and the physiological performance of female after reproduction,the reproductive performance and postpartum female physiological performance were evaluated for the large-sized brood parents with the average body weight of(260.39±10.92)g in female and(364.20±10.78)g in male.The results showed that reproductive performance of the large-sized brood parents was very excellent,the survival rate of breeding female was 74.29%,the average production of megalopa from each female was 2.17 kg,and the average production of the larva was 1057.82 kg per hectare.Meanwhile,the attacking test showed that the female parents displayed strong aggressive ability,which indicated their good health condition after breeding.Ultrastructural observation of claw muscle fibres using an electron microscope showed that muscle structure was integral and ordered without degradation or dissolution.The A and I bands were clear,and the number of mitochondria in muscle fibre was abundant.The results showed that the reproductive performance of large-sized brood parents was higher,and by increasing the survival rate of parents during the reproduction period can get a high and stable yield of the breeding larva. |
