Abstract:This paper makes analysis of the difference between the intelligent network structure, the traditional power grid relay protection and intelligent power grid relay protection, and the key technologies of smart grid. The author discusses the challenges facing relay protection of smart grid in China in a bid to provide reference for improving the the quality of intelligent, sensitive, reliable and rapid relay protection.
