| Abstract: | The fall webworm Hyphantria cunea Drury,which is native to North America,was spread to European and Asian countries from later 1940s.It was first found in Liaoning Province,China in 1979 and now had spread to Hebei,Tianjin,Shanghai,Shaanxi,Shandong provinces and cities and many other areas.The fall webworm had costed serious damages throughout the regions above.This paper reviewed the thirty-year history of biological control of Hyphantria cunea in China.And pointed out the disadvantages of all the measures before and then gave the suggestive solutions.The biological control development trends of Hyphantria cunea were also discussed. |
