我国的竹类科学研究

摘    要:本文概括论述了近几十年来我国的竹类科学研究的进展和成就,包括竹类植物分类学,竹材及地下茎维管束解剖形态结构,竹类植物开花,笋期生长等生物学,生态学特性等的基础理论方面的研究,我国产主要经济竹种如毛竹Phyllostachys heterocyclavar.Pubescens、淡竹Ph.glauca、青皮竹Bambusa textilis等的育苗造林和速生丰产培育技术及丰产竹林群体结构等的研究,优良经济竹种的引种和竹类植物有性杂交育种的试验研究,竹林主要病虫害及竹材和竹制品的防腐防蛀技术的研究,竹材及竹副产品的综合加工利用的研究等。

Abstract:Bamboo is an important forest resource. In the last dccades in chilla-one of the largest bamboo production countries, the bamboo researchers have conducted a series of studies on exploitation, development, conversation and comprehensive utilization of babboos., giving an great impetus to chinese bamboo production. The taxon-omists have discovered 12 new genus, 4 groups of new distribution and more than three hundrads of new plants, readjusting the taxonomy system of Bambusoideae to make it much closer to the natural system. Bamboo seientists and technicians have collected a vast amount of native bamboo species and established a large rillmber of bamboo orchards which play a significant role in conserving and expanding the species resource, and in bamboo study, teaching, production as well as academic exchanges. The study on bioecology characteristics of hamboo species provides theoretjcal basis for the fast-growing and high yield ciltivation of these species. Advances have been made in vascular bundle anatomy and quantitative study of bamboo colony. It was in early 50's that a technical breakthrough was achieved in reproduction of scatter type bamboos, thus promoting the production of scattered bamboos in the South. Both seedling-braising and siliculting of Phyllostachys heterocycla var. pubescens and crossbreeding of scatter types have succeeded; studies on fast-growing and high yield culture of some important economic species, such as Phyllostachys heterocycle var. pubescens, Ph. glauca and Pseudosasa amabilis, have been deepened and systematized, and a large number of high yield sample forests have becn established. Grear achievements in introduction and culture of economic species and constant advances in reseaarch on pest and disease prevention have been made. Various uses of bamboo timber and by-products have developed fast; techniques for paper making and the production of bamboo plywood, lamilated board nd peeled board are being perfected, thus building a new way for the comprehensive utilization of bamboos.
