摘    要:用10 mmol/L CaCl2对苜蓿浸种,进行不同土壤含水量条件的干旱胁迫,结果表明,外源钙提高了苜蓿叶片POD酶活性、叶绿素含量和相对含水量,减轻了膜透性及对叶绿体结构的伤害,提高了苜蓿的抗旱性.

Abstract:This experiment investigated what affect the coating of Medicago sativa seeds in calcium had on drought stress resistance. Calcium coating of seeds was done by immersing M. sativa seeds in a 10 mmol/L CaCl2 solution,followed by growing the seeds under conditions differing in water availability. Results showed that the addition of calcium could increase POD enzyme activity,chlorophyll content and the relative leaf water content,and that it alleviated membrane penetration and the damage that drought stress can cause to chloroplast. These results indicated coating M. sativa seeds in calcium may improve the plants drought resistance.
