| 摘 要： | 系统总结了近年来有关野生牡丹种间亲缘关系的研究进展，详细回顾了有关栽培牡丹起源的时间、地点、方式及祖先种等方面研究所取得的现有证据，并分析和讨论了栽培牡丹“多地”、“多元”起源的观点，认为栽培牡丹的起源途径是最初通过野生种的直接驯化获得原始品种，在此基础上通过突变和人工选择发展出古代和传统品种。除衍生出古代和传统品种的野生祖先种外，其它野生种通过自然与(或)人工杂交的方式参与现有品种群(亚群)的形成和发展。为寻找栽培牡丹起源的有力证据，不同栽培品种群(亚群)与野生种的分子系统学关系是今后研究的重点。

| Abstract: | Wild tree peonies consist of eight species, which are distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Anhui and Xizang (Tibet) in China, and form a woody group (Sect. Moutan DC.) in the genus Paeorda (Paeoniaceae) . A cultivated tree peony appeared in an ancient painting in China about 1500 years ago. Because of the contentious systematic position of Paeonia and important economic value of cultivated tree peonies, studies on phylogeny of the wild tree peony and on the origin of cultivated tree peonies are of important scientific and practical value. In this paper, new advances achieved both in China and abroad in studies on the phylogeny of wild tree peonies are summarized. The present pieces of evidence for the origin of cultivated tree peonies, i. e. when, where and how cultivated tree peonies were domesticated and how many wild species were actually involved in the domestication are thoroughly reviewed. In addition, the hypothesis of poly-phyletic and polytopic origin of cultivated tree peonies is analyzed and discussed. We suggest that the cultivated tree peonies have originated in the following way. Early primitive cultivars were raised directly from wild ancestors through domestication, and the ancient and traditional cultivars were developed thereafter through mutations and artificial selections. In addition to the ancestral species of the ancient and traditional cultivars, other wild species were involved in the differentiation and development of current cultivar groups (subgroups) by natural and (or) artificial hybridizations. To search direct evidence for the origin of cultivated tree peonies, we must rely on genetic markers and DNA sequence analysis in addition to morphological characters. |
