| Abstract: | The present paper describes the adaptability of clove(Eugenia aromatica Baillon)introduced from South East Asia to the climatic conditions such as temperature, rainfall, sunlight and wind in Hainan Island. The optimal and suitable growing areas and requirements for temperature, rainfall and humidity are suggested for the plant in Hainan Island. |
