| 摘 要： | 20 0 0年 1月 1 9～ 2 2日 ,国务院西部地区开发领导小组在北京召开了西部地区开发会议。朱钅容 基总理出席会议并发表了讲话 ,阐述了实施西部大开发战略 ,加快中西部地区发展的重大意义 ,分析了当前的有利条件和时机 ,提出了做好近期重点工作任务的要求。实施西部大开发是一项规模宏大的系统工程 ,也是一项艰巨的历史任务。会议指出实施西部大开发战略 ,要把加快基础建设作为开发的基础 ,把加强生态环境保护建设作为开发的根本。林业 ,作为生态环境建设的主体 ,在西部大开发中肩负着重大的使命。面对这一机遇 ,我们要抓住时机 ,使我国的林业和生态环境建设事业在较短的时间内得到改观。为此 ,《世界林业研究》编辑部特邀请几位领导、专家和教授撰写文章 ,为西部开发献计献策

| Abstract: | As forestry resource of China is coming exhausted with serious shortage of forest product provision,the state has to take out large amount of foreign exchange to import timber and other forest products.To change the cash business an important movement is thought to develop economy cooperation with overseas forestry,seek new growth point of forestry economy through investment and exploration of overseas forest resource to expand opening to the outside of forestry,and to speed up construction of external forestry industry.It is raised to formulate near future and long-term plans of overseas forest exploration,establish strategic thought of economy cooperation with overseas forestry,from the view point of national interest,consolidate and develop existed projects invested in foreign countries,open up new areas and projects actively,and to give impetus to the step of economy cooperation with overseas forestry. |
