| Abstract: | A method for cryopreserving trout primordial germ cells (PGCs) was established. Trout PGCs were successfully cryopreserved with high survival by freezing with medium containing 1.8 M ethylene glycol. Transplantation experiment revealed that frozen/thawed PGCs colonized and proliferated in the recipients' gonads. |
