| Abstract: | Enterococcus is Gram-positive and hydrogen peroxidase negative coccus,which belongs to the normal microbial flora of intestinal tract of human and animals.Enterococcus can cause disease and hospital cross-infection,causing urinary tract infection,bacteremia and endocarditis and so on in clinic.Because of it’s multiple-drug resistance and pathogenicity,more and more attention are payed to.The research status of Enterococcus from biological characteristics,virulence factor,drug resistance,epidemiology and clinical detection were reviewed. |
