| Soybean rust is widespread in southeastern Asia and America recently.Soybean rust(Phakopsora pachyrhizi Sydow and P.meibomiae Arthur) can cause severe economic losses.Since detected in the American Continent on Nov.2004,it has received much attention by scientists,soybean producers and importing countries.In this paper the current status and advances in soybean rust in the world were introduced,including the findings,geographical distribution,pathogens,symptoms,host range,surveillance,identification,and management recommendations. |
