A feeding experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of rotifers (Brachionus plicatilis) and Artemia sp. enriched differently on early growth, survival and lipid class composition of Atlantic cod larvae (Gadus morhua). Rotifers enrichments tested were: (1) AlgaMac 2000®, (2) AquaGrow® Advantage and (3) a combination of Pavlova sp. paste and AlgaMac 2000®. The same treatments were tested with Artemia as well as a combination of DC DHA Selco® and AlgaMac 2000® as a fourth treatment. After rotifer feeding, the larvae from treatment 3 [1.50 ± 0.11 mg dry weight (dw)] were significantly heavier than larvae from treatment 2 (1.03 ± 0.04 mg dw). After feeding Artemia, the larvae from treatment 1 were significantly heavier (12.06 ± 2.54 mg dw) than those from treatments 3 (6.5 ± 0.73 mg dw) and 4 (5.31 ± 1.01 mg dw). Treatment 3 resulted in the best survival through the 59 days of larviculture. After rotifer feeding, high larval concentrations of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), arachidonic acid (AA) and ω6 docosapentaenoic acid (ω6DPA) could be linked to better larval growth and survival while after feeding Artemia, high larval DHA/EPA ratios (~3) and high DPA/AA ratios (>1) could be linked to better survival.  相似文献

Considerable progress has been achieved in the intensive culture of Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua). However, there is little information concerning optimum live-feed enrichments for cod larvae, since many of the techniques used during the larviculture have been borrowed from other fish species and adapted for the production of Atlantic cod. The present study compared four different protocols for the enrichment of Artemia to be used as live feed for cod larvae. The protocols tested were: (1) AlgaMac 2000, (2) AquaGrow Advantage, (3) Pavlova sp. + AlgaMac 2000, and (4) DC DHA Selco + AlgaMac 2000. Larvae were fed differently enriched Artemia between 37 and 59 days post hatch. At the end of the experiment, larvae from treatment 1 [specific growth rate (SGR) = 10.4 ± 0.4% day−1] grew faster than larvae from treatments 3 (SGR = 6.9 ± 0.2% day−1) and 4 (SGR = 4.9 ± 0.4% day−1, P < 0.0001). However, treatments 3 and 4 resulted in better larval survival at the end of the experimental period, estimated to be 3 on a scale from 1 to 5, whereas the survival estimates for the two other groups were 2. The treatments affected the fatty-acid composition of Artemia and of cod larvae. Larvae from treatment 1 had a higher percentage of AA (20:4ω6, P < 0.0001) and ω6DPA (22:5ω6, P < 0.0001) than the other larvae. Levels of DHA (22:6ω3) were similar in larvae from treatments 1 and 4, and higher than in the other larvae (P < 0.0001). Largemouth bass (LMB) Micropterus salmoides fry do not accept prepared diets at first feeding. Fry are initially reared in fertilized ponds on natural live foods until large enough to be feed trained. Unpredictable weather patterns and depletion of natural forages can affect nursery pond survival. A series of experiments was conducted to investigate the use of Artemia nauplii prepared diets and optimal feeding schedules to raise LMB fry from first feeding through habituation to a commercial dry diet. In Studies 1, 2, and 3, swim-up fry were transferred to a recirculating system and stocked into either 3-L (Studies 1 and 2) or 10-L (Study 3) acrylic aquaria. Study 1 screened candidate diets to evaluate whether LMB fry could be transitioned directly to prepared diets or if they required live foods. In Study 2 the optimum duration for feeding live Artemia (1, 2, or 3 weeks) and the appropriate size of commercial diets (<200 or 200–360 μm) were evaluated. Study 3 was designed to identify the best transitional feed. Results from Study 1 indicate that fry fed Otohime-A (<200 μm) and decapsulated Artemia cysts performed better than those fed other diets tested. However, survivals were low (6%–8%) indicating a need for live feed initially. In Trial 2, fry fed live Artemia nauplii for two weeks and then transitioned to a 200–360 μm diet (Otohime-B) performed better than other diet combinations tested. In Study 3, survival was significantly higher in treatments using decapsulated Artemia cysts or Otohime-B as transitional diets between initial live Artemia feeding and trout starter. These data indicate that LMB fry can be successfully raised from first feeding to fully habituated to a commercial trout starter by feeding live Artemia nauplii for two weeks, followed by a gradual transition to either decapsulated Artemia cysts or Otohime-B for one week, then gradually transitioning to trout starter. Surviving fish were easily transitioned to commercial floating feed (Study 4). This protocol yielded survival rates of approximately 70% and may improve the reliability of LMB fingerling production by eliminating the outdoor nursery pond phase.  相似文献

Six groups of Atlantic halibut, Hippoglossus hippoglossus L., larvae were offered calanoid cope-pods at different periods from days 11 to 25 after first feeding (1.13-3.20 mm myotome height) in order to establish at which stage normal pigmentation was determined. Artemia nauplii enriched with an oil emulsion were used prior to and after the copepod period. Control groups were fed on copepods or Artemia only. The Artemia diet initiated an earlier intake of food and higher initial growth compared to the copepod diet. After 50 days of feeding, the average dry weights of the fish fed on Artemia and copepods were quite similar to the copepod-fed fish, while the Artemia-fed fish were the smallest in size. The lowest frequency of normally pigmented juveniles was found in the Artemia-fed group (66.4%), while the copepod group showed almost 100% normal pigmentation. A significantly higher frequency of pigmentation was found in juveniles given a copepod diet close to the initiation of metamorphosis than those provided with an earlier copepod period of equal duration. A high degree of eye migration was found in all groups, but was lowest in the Artemia-fed group. The initial stage of eye migration was found to occur at a larger body size in fish given Artemia and copepods, or a copepod diet than in fish fed on Artemia alone. There was no significant correlation between eye migration and growth rates prior to metamorphosis, although the largest individuals exhibited the most complete eye migration. High pigmentation frequencies were obtained in fish with a low 22:6n-3:20:.5n-3 (DHA:EPA) ratio (< 1.0).  相似文献

The tongue sole Cynoglossus semilaevis, an inshore fish in China, has showed great potential in aquaculture recently. However, poor survival was recorded during the period of weaning from live Artemia to artificial diets. In this paper, the influence of co‐feeding larvae with live and inert diet on weaning performance was described. The C. semilaevis larvae were reared at 21 ± 1 °C and fed four different feeding regimes from 6 days post‐hatching (dph): A, Artemia (10 individuals mL?1); B, Artemia (5 individuals mL?1); C, mixed diet (10 Artemia individuals mL?1 and 12 mg L?1 inert diet); and D, mixed diet (5 Artemia individuals mL?1 and 12 mg L?1 inert diet). Rotifers were also supplied in all cases during the first days of feeding. Mixed diets of commercial formulated feed and live prey (rotifers and Artemia) allowed larvae to complete metamorphosis, achieving similar specific growth rate (SGR) (18.5 ± 1.4% and 18.7 ± 1.6%) and survival (40 ± 7.6% and 48.5 ± 6.8%) compared with larvae fed on live feed alone (SGR of 18.3 ± 1.2%, 19.3 ± 1.9% and survival of 41.2 ± 11.3%, 38 ± 4.9%). However, in metamorphosed fish, when live feed was withdrawn on 31 dph, there was significant difference (P < 0.05) in survival and growth among treatments. Metamorphosed fish, previously fed mixture diets during larval stages, had similar survival (62.1 ± 7.6% and 62.8 ± 3.9% for regimes C and D, respectively) but higher than that obtained for fish that previously fed on live feed (49.3 ± 2% and 42.1 ± 3.9% for regimes A and B, respectively) after weaning (day 60). The SGR of weaned fish previously fed live feed was similar (3.1 ± 0.6% and 2.92 ± 0.6% for regimes A and B, respectively) but lower than that recorded for fish that was fed from day 6 to day 30 on the mixed diet (4.5 ± 1.1% and 4.9 ± 0.3% for regimes C and D, respectively). It is suggested that weaning of C. semilaevis from early development would appear to be feasible and larval co‐feeding improves growth and survival.  相似文献

A feeding experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of Bacillus subtilis bacterium, on larval growth and development rate of Macrobrachium rosenbergii (de Man) during February 28 to April 8, 2005 in University Putra Malaysia hatchery. Newly hatched larvae of M. rosenbergii were reared with two dietary treatments consisting of newly hatched Artemia salina nauplii with B. subtilis (108 cells ml−1), and newly hatched A. salina nauplii without B. subtilis carried out in triplicate in 60‐L aquarium (50 L−1). After trial, the larvae that fed B. subtilis‐treated Artemia naupli were found to have higher survival and a faster rate of metamorphosis than larvae that were fed with nontreated Artemia naupli. There were significant differences between B. subtilis‐treated Artemia naupli and nontreated Artemia diet in larval growth and development rate of metamorphosis (P < 0.05). Larval survival after 40 days was significantly greater (P < 0.05) in the B. subtilis‐treated groups (55.3 ± 1.02) compared with the nontreated groups (36.2 ± 5.02%).  相似文献

The suitability of some common, natural and artificial feedstuffs for the rearing of fry of Clarias lazera (C. & V.) was investigated in 2 experiments.It was found that a dry trout starter, an experimental dry feed and dried inactive yeast were not suitable feeds for rearing C. lazera fry. Neither could ground Clarias fingerlings or frozen zooplankton be used. By contrast, frozen Artemia and especially live Artemia and live zooplankton gave good results. After 4 weeks the fish thus fed had attained an average weight of 0.3 to 1 g and survival ranged from 50 to 96%.Feeding in excess of satiation and feeding 24 h/day gave the fastest growth, although the differences in comparison with feeding Artemia or live zooplankton to satiation 4 times per day were not significant. The specific growth rate (% body weight) of these fish decreased from 68% at the start of the experiment to 9% after 28 days.  相似文献

Incomplete eye migration is one of the major problems in intensive production of juvenile Atlantic halibut. More than 60% of an average juvenile population reared according to best practice suffers from this abnormality. In commercial production, these fish are discharged and represent a substantial economic loss and a large welfare problem. In the present investigation it is demonstrated that by controlling diurnal light and darkness periods together with a meal based feeding regime, incomplete eye migration can be dramatically reduced in production systems for Atlantic halibut.Control groups were reared under continuous light conditions, whereas the experimental groups were given 7 h of darkness and 17 h of light during a 24 hour cycle, in a period lasting from 12 to 35 days post first-feeding. Otherwise both groups were reared under continuous light conditions. All larvae were fed short time enriched Artemia supplied two times daily.The experimental conditions did not affect the overall growth or survival up to day 85 after first feeding. However, 27 ± 3% of the fry reared under continuous light conditions had complete eye migration, whereas in juveniles reared under shifting light and darkness conditions, complete eye migration was 85 ± 7%. These results represent a major improvement in production systems for Atlantic halibut juveniles.  相似文献

Major challenges in culture of Atlantic halibut larvae have been slow growth during the late larval stages and inferior juvenile quality due to pigmentation errors and incomplete eye migration during metamorphosis. The hypothesis of this study was that feeding on‐grown Artemia would alleviate these problems. Artemia were grown for 3–4 days on Origreen or Origo. The growth and nutrient composition of Artemia nauplii and on‐grown Artemia were analysed, and both Artemia types were fed to Atlantic halibut larvae, on‐grown Artemia from 15 days post‐first feeding (dpff). The body length of Artemia increased with 20%–70% in response to on‐growing. In all experiments, protein, free amino acids and the ratio of phospholipid to total lipid increased, while lipid and glycogen decreased. The fatty acid composition improved in some cases and not in others. The micronutrient profiles were not negatively affected in on‐grown Artemia. All these changes are thought to be beneficial for marine fish larvae. The final weight of Atlantic halibut postlarvae was similar, and 90% of the juveniles had complete eye migration in both groups. It is concluded that the present version of Artemia nauplii probably covers the nutrient requirements of Atlantic halibut larvae.  相似文献

Four one‐week growth trials were conducted on green sturgeon fry to determine the effect of feeding rate on their growth performance at 18 °C when they were fed a salmonid soft moist feeds containing 445–457 g kg?1 of crude protein and 201–207 g kg?1 of lipid. The fry used in Trials I‐IV were 5–8 weeks after their initiation of exogenous feeding. Their average initial body weights were 1.63 ± 0.01, 2.63 ± 0.03, 5.08 ± 0.08 and 7.49 ± 0.05 g, respectively. Six feeding rates used were as follows: 2.5–15.0% body weight per day (% BW day?1) with a 2.5% increment in Trial I; 1.25–7.50% BW day?1 with a 1.25% increment in Trial II; and 2.0–7.0% BW day?1 with a 1.0% increment in Trials III and IV. Four replicates with 50 fry per tank in Trials I‐III and 30 fry per tank in Trial IV were assigned randomly to each feeding rates. The final body weight, specific growth rate, feed efficiency, protein retention, and whole‐body moisture, lipid, and energy contents were significantly (< 0.05) affected by the feeding rates. The optimum feeding rates determined by the broken‐line model were 7.1, 5.7 and 5.3% BW day?1 for Trials I, II and IV, when the fry were 5, 6 and 8 weeks after their initiation of exogenous feeding, respectively.  相似文献

Replicated groups of Atlantic cod were rearedfor up to 40 days in 100 l tanks stocked at adensity of 75 eggs l–1. Larvae weretransferred from rotifers, Brachionusplicatilis, to either fresh-hatched orenriched Artemia nauplii on each of days5, 15 and 25 post-hatch (ph). Rotifers wereprogressively withdrawn over a 5 day period.The type of Artemia offered(fresh-hatched, enriched) did not affectsurvival or growth rates at any of the 3transfer ages. Larvae transferred toArtemia from day 5 ph suffered a highincidence of swimbladder over-inflation andhigh mortality during metamorphosis (< 1%survival to day 36 ph). Cod in the day 15 and day25 transfer groups did not differ significantlyin weight-specific growth rate or size on day40 ph (mean standard length 13.8 mm, dry weight3.8 mg). Highest mean survival rates to day 40ph (18.1%) and lowest mortality followingtransfer to nursery tanks were also observed inthe day 25 transfer groups. Fish that receivedArtemia from day 5 ph containedcirca twice as much total lipid per unit bodyweight and had a 30% higher triacylglycerol(TAG) content compared to all other groups.Ratios of the essential fatty acidsdocosahexaenoic acid (DHA), eicosapentaenoicacid (EPA) and arachidonic acid (ARA) alsodiffered according to age-at-transition.DHA:EPA ratio exceeded 1 only in codtransferred to Artemia on day 25 ph.Based on these findings, it is recommended thatintensively reared Atlantic cod should continueto receive rotifers until completion ofmetamorphosis.  相似文献

This study describes the effects of feeding taurine‐supplemented Artemia on the growth, survival, whole body taurine content and jaw malformation rate of larval yellowtail kingfish Seriola lalandi. Larvae were fed rotifers containing no supplemental taurine from 3 to 15 day post hatch (dph) and Artemia co‐enriched with taurine from 12 to 22 dph. Artemia were supplemented at concentrations of either 0, 0.8, 1.6, 2.4, 3.2 or 4.0 g of taurine L?1 during the 18 h HUFA enrichment process. Taurine content in the Artemia increased from 0.76 ± 0.04% DW in those without supplementation to 3.95 ± 0.17% DW in those supplemented at 4.0 g L?1. Survival rates of larval yellowtail kingfish were significantly lower in all taurine‐supplemented treatments compared to the unsupplemented control. Growth was significantly improved in those larvae fed taurine‐supplemented Artemia; however, we cannot attribute this improvement solely to taurine, as improved growth may have been a function of the reduced survival, and therefore increased prey availability, in these treatments. The whole body taurine content of larvae fed unsupplemented Artemia was significantly lower (1.85 ± 0.03% DW) than those fed supplemented Artemia, which did not differ from each other (pooled average 2.48 ± 0.03% DW), suggesting either a functional excretion mechanism is in place or that this represents the saturation value for larvae of this age. Jaw malformation rates were not affected by Artemia taurine content. The results of this research suggest yellowtail kingfish larvae may have a lower requirement and/or a reduced tolerance to excess dietary taurine than juveniles.  相似文献

The performance of microbial flocs as food for Artemia, which were produced using waste from a recirculating aquaculture system stocking European eel (Anguilla anguilla), was investigated in an 18‐day feeding trial. Four dietary treatments were used: Chlorella only (diet 1), flocs only (diet 2), and both Chlorella and flocs offered as mixed diets in different proportions (diets 3 and 4). The survival rate of Artemia fed diets 1 and 4 were significantly higher than those fed diets 2 and 3. The survival rate of Artemia fed diet 4 was the highest among the four diets. Individual length (10.02 ± 2.44 mm) and biomass production of diet 3 (3.2 ± 0.40 g L–1) were the highest among the four diets. The crude protein contents for Artemia fed diets 2, 3 and 4 were 591.22 ± 30.15, 580.34 ± 22.42 and 533.27 ± 34.19 g kg–1, respectively, which were significantly higher than that of diet 1 (461.25 ± 10.33 g kg–1). The concentrations of free amino acids and the fatty acid compositions in the four diets were equal, except for the C24:0 content. The highly unsaturated fatty acid concentration of Artemia fed diet 2 was higher than those of the other three diets. Fingerling rearing of Indian major carps, Catla catla, Labeo rohita and Cirrhinus mrigala, were conducted in concrete tanks under a polyculture system at a density of 0.3 million fry ha?1 to evaluate the effect of one, two or three feedings per day on growth, survival and feed utilization. Fry were fed with formulated supplementary diet at 10% of biomass per day during the first 15 days, followed by 8% in the next 15 days and 6% thereafter, for 60 days. Feeding of fish three times daily led to higher growth (103.9±8.5 mm/10.3±2.4 g) than those feeding twice (100.2±4.8 mm/9.9±1.5 g) or once (97.2±9.8 mm/9.4±2.1 g) daily, although the values were not significantly different (P>0.05). Survival rate ranging between 72.3% and 75.1% also did not vary significantly (P>0.05) among the treatments. However, higher feeding frequencies resulted in better feed utilization as evident from decreasing feed conversion ratio values. The present study suggested requirement of a higher feeding frequency for rohu compared with catla and mrigal.  相似文献

Two feeding experiments were conducted to determine if Brachionus plicatilis and Artemia salina nauplii were ingested by mud crab Scylla serrata larvae. In the first experiment, larvae were fed with increasing densities of Artemia nauplii with or without Brachionus to determine consumption with increasing densities of Artemia and with increasing zoeal stage. This experiment also aimed to determine if the presence of Brachionus as an alternative prey influenced the intake of Artemia by the crab larvae. There was generally an increase in intake with increasing densities of Artemia and increased consumption of Artemia as the larvae grew. Consumption of Brachionus was consistently high in all zoeal stages. There was a significant reduction in the intake of Brachionus with increasing consumption of Artemia in the early zoeal stages (Z1, Z2, Z3), but at later stages (Z4, Z5) the intake of Artemia was no longer affected by the presence of Brachionus. In the second experiment, daily ingestion within instar of zoeal stages and megalopa were compared. There was an increased consumption of Artemia nauplii on the day before molting and increased ingestion of Brachionus on the day after larvae had molted, except at Z3. Megalopae exhibited a decline in Artemia nauplii intake on the days before metamorphosis to crablet.  相似文献

This study aimed to evaluate the performance of Pyrrhulina larvae, Pyrrhulina brevis, under different photoperiods and feeding frequencies. A completely randomized design was used, with four replicates in a 5 × 2 factorial, with five photoperiods (6L:18D, 12L:12D, 16L:8D, 20L:4D, 24L:0D) and two feeding frequencies (two or four times a day). Four hundred larvae with an initial length of 4.6 ± 0.09 mm were randomly distributed in 40, 1‐L containers at a density of 10 larvae/L. Feeding was performed with Artemia nauplii in the ratio of 150 Artemia nauplii/larva/feeding. After 15 days, all larvae were euthanized for measurements of length (mm), final weight (mg), survival rate (%) and larvae uniformity in weight an length (%). The data were subjected to analysis of variance and subsequently, in case of significance, a Tukey test was performed to compare means. There was no interaction between photoperiod and feeding frequency on studied variables (P > 0.05). Likewise, there was no influence of feed rate on the same variables (P > 0.05). There was only influence of photoperiod, where the larvae subjected to longest photoperiods (24L:0D and 20L:4D) showed improved weight and length (P < 0.05). Therefore, a photoperiod of 20L:4E, with feeding twice a day is recommended.  相似文献

Two series of feeding experiments were conducted to study the feasibility of using decapsulated Artemia cysts for direct feeding to ornamental fish. The first series evaluated the dietary values of the dried and the brine decapsulated Artemia cysts against two conventional live feeds, Artemia nauplii and Moina for adults and fry of the guppy, Poecilia reticulata Peters. In the second series, brine cysts were used for feeding to fry of four other important ornamental fish species, viz. platy, Xiphophorus maculatus (Günther), swordtail, X. helleri (Heckel), molly, P. sphenops Cuvier & Valenciennes and black neon tetra, Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi Géry, and the results were compared with those fed Moina. Evaluation of the performance of the fish fed the various diets was based on stress resistance, growth and survival of the fish. Our findings indicated that decapsulated cysts could be used as a substitute for Artemia nauplii or Moina in freshwater ornamental fish culture. Apart from being a hygienic off‐the‐shelf feed, the direct use of the cysts also signifies a new area of application for low‐hatch cysts in the ornamental fish industry, with concomitant saving in feed costs.  相似文献

The effects of stocking density and feeding levels on larval survival, growth rates, feed utilization efficiency and body composition of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus L.) fry were investigated in two consecutive experiments. In experiment 1, swimup fry (0.016 g average body weight) were stocked in 20‐L fibreglass tanks, in a closed, recirculating indoor system, at five stocking densities (3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 fry L?1) and fed a larval test diet (40% crude protein) to apparent satiation, three times a day, for 40 days. Fish survival, percentage weight gain and specific growth rate (% SGR) were negatively correlated with stocking density. The best performance was achieved at 3 fry L?1. However, no significant differences in growth parameters were found between 3 and 5 fry L?1. Body composition was not significantly affected by stocking density. In experiment 2, fry (0.016 g average body weight) were stocked at 5 fry L?1, and fed a larval test diet (40% crude protein) at six feeding levels (10%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 35% BW day?1) and to satiation, three times a day for 40 days. Fish growth rates and survival were extremely poor at 10% feeding level, and improved significantly with increasing feeding levels up to 30%, and levelled off with further increase in feeding levels. On the contrary, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and protein production value (PPV) were negatively correlated with feeding level. The lowest feeding level (10%) produced significantly lower body lipid and higher protein and ash than other feeding levels. The present results suggest that the optimum stocking density and feeding level of Nile tilapia fry are 5 fry L?1 and 30% per day respectively.  相似文献

Heterobranchus longifilis larvae were reared over a 35 d period to evaluate the effects of stocking densities and feeding regimes on growth and survival. In experiment 1, larvae (12.3?±?2.1 mg) were stocked into glass aquaria at densities of 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 larvae L?1. Larvae were fed on Artemia nauplii ad libitum. Significant variations in terms of growth performance and feed utilization occurred at all levels of density treatments. Specific growth rate (SGR), body weight gain (BWG), and feed efficiency (FE) of the larvae decreased significantly as density increased. However, survival rate increased with the increase of stocking density. In experiment 2, larvae (13.4?±?1.1 mg) stocked at a density of 15 larvae L?1, in the same conditions as experiment 1, were fed on three different regimes: Artemia nauplii; 35%?protein beef brain; and 35%?protein commercial catfish feed (CN+). SGR, BWG, and coefficient of variation (CV) of larvae fed on Artemia nauplii were significantly higher than those fed on beef brain and CN+. The survival rate of larvae fed on beef brain was significantly higher (88.40?±?9.75%) than those of Artemia (69.21?±?6.69%) and CN+ (40.40?±?6.22%). The Australian Murray cod supports a growing national industry. However, with regard to the process of weaning fry, there is a lack of information and optimal procedures need to be developed. The aim of the present investigation was to test the biological and economic efficacy of different weaning strategies for Murray cod. Three weaning strategies were tested on triplicate groups of fish: (1) only Artemia for 5 d, 7 d on Artemia plus starter diet, and 14 d on dry diet only; (2) 12 d on Artemia plus starter diet and 14 d on dry diet only; and (3) directly to dry diet for the entire experimental period. No significant differences were recorded in the growth and feed efficiency, while significantly higher mortality (38.4 ± 0.35%) was recorded in fish weaned directly onto dry diet. Fish subjected to the first 5 d on Artemia only showed a growth reduction during this period, which was compensated by a phase of enhanced growth during the dry‐diet phase. No significant differences were noted in the proximate composition of fish under the different treatments. The economic evaluation suggested that the treatment with the simultaneous supply of Artemia and starter diet is preferable.  相似文献
