运用组织学和组织化学染色法,分别对自然感染贝氏莫尼茨绦虫的成年绵羊(感染组)与正常成年绵羊(对照组)的小肠各肠段的上皮内淋巴细胞、浆细胞、杯状细胞和嗜酸粒细胞的分布和数量变化进行了比较研究。结果显示:感染组小肠各段上皮内淋巴细胞、浆细胞、杯状细胞和嗜酸粒细胞数量均显著高于对照组,其中感染组十二指肠、空肠和回肠的上皮内淋巴细胞数量分别比对照组增加了169.11%、230.38%和233.42%(P〈0.01);嗜酸粒细胞数量分别比对照组增加了116.78%、123.87%和164.51%(P〈0.01);浆细胞数量分别比对照组增加了127.34%、72.97%和328.26%(P〈0.01);杯状细胞数量分别比对照组增加了33.40%、41.42%和133.17%。对照组和感染组上皮内淋巴细胞和杯状细胞从十二指肠到回肠均逐渐减少,相反,对照组和感染组嗜酸粒细胞数量从十二指肠到回肠均逐渐增多,对照组小肠固有层浆细胞数量从十二指肠到空肠增加,空肠到回肠减少,感染组小肠固有层浆细胞数量从十二指肠到回肠均逐渐增多;对照组十二指肠、空肠、回肠的上皮内淋巴细胞、上皮内杯状细胞、浆细胞和嗜酸粒细胞均差异极显著(P〈0.01);感染组十二指肠、空肠、回肠的上皮内杯状细胞、浆细胞和嗜酸粒细胞均差异极显著(P〈0.01),感染组上皮内淋巴细胞空肠与回肠差异极显著(P〈0.01),但十二指肠与空肠差异不显著(P〉0.05)。研究结果表明,贝氏莫尼茨绦虫感染成年绵羊后,成年绵羊通过特异性黏膜免疫细胞上皮内淋巴细胞增生加强细胞免疫水平,浆细胞增生加强体液免疫水平,同时还通过非特异性黏膜免疫细胞,嗜酸粒细胞和杯状细胞的增生进一步加强黏膜免疫水平以抵抗贝氏莫尼茨绦虫对绵羊的感染。可见绵羊可以通过黏膜免疫相关细胞增生加强局部免疫力以监视虫体免疫逃逸来抵抗寄生虫的感染。  相似文献

1病原及生活史牛绦虫病是由扩展莫尼茨绦虫和贝氏莫尼茨绦虫寄生在牛小肠里引起危害严重的寄生虫病。在我国常见的莫尼茨绦虫有扩展莫尼茨绦虫和贝氏莫尼茨绦虫,后者多寄生于犊牛。两种虫体在外观上相似,均为乳白色,头节小,圆形,上有四个椭圆形吸盘,无钩,无顶突,节片宽而短,成熟节片内有两套生殖器官,每侧一套。卵巢和卵黄腺在节片两侧相互构成菊花状环形。睾丸数百个,分布于整个节片内。子宫成网状,生殖孔各向一侧开口。在节片后缘有节间腺。扩展莫尼茨绦虫的节间腺呈环状,疏松地排列于节片后缘,其两端几乎可达纵排泄管。  相似文献

目的将染色制片的两种莫尼茨绦虫进行生殖器官形态学观察与比较。方法采用苏木素染色法,将采集的绵羊莫尼茨绦虫染色制片,将其分类为贝氏莫尼茨绦虫和扩展莫尼茨绦虫后,分别各选取10条进行形态结构测量与比较,同时对两种绦虫的节间腺进行了对比观察与测量。结果两种莫尼茨绦虫的卵巢在幼节的前段,距头节25~45mm处开始形成雏形,卵巢的退化在距头节1029-1217mm后的孕节前段消失;而睾丸的形成在距头节285-320mm后的幼节末段处,睾丸的退化则在距头节751mm后的成节后段及距头节1281mm后的孕节前段消失。结论观察结果说明,莫尼茨绦虫雌性生殖器官的发育早于雄性生殖器官的发育。对扩展莫尼茨绦虫节间腺的观察发现,有的绦虫的节间腺呈一排分布,也有的呈两排分布,还有个别绦虫无节间腺分布。  相似文献

The intracellular microsporidian parasite Loma salmonae affects salmonids of the genus Oncorhynchus and is a significant cause of economic losses in pen-reared Chinook salmon (O. tshawytscha) in British Columbia. Loma salmonae infection is easily recognized by the xenomas that form in the gills, but early stages of infection are difficult to detect in histologic sections. In situ hybridization (ISH), using an L. salmonae-specific digoxigenin-labeled single-stranded DNA probe, was used to detect the parasite during the early stages of infection. Loma salmonae was detected in the gut mucosal epithelium as early as 24 hours postexposure (PE), and it localized in the lamina propria of the intestine within 24 hours of infection. After the parasite was detected in the lamina propria, dividing merogonic stages in infected cells in the heart were detected by ISH as early as 2 days PE, providing the first evidence of parasitaemia and hematogenous distribution of this parasite in infected blood cells. The parasites inside the infected cells appeared to be undergoing merogony as they passed through the heart, indicating that proliferation may start at the site of infection, before the parasite arrives to the gills for their final developmental phase. This is the first time that L. salmonae passage through the intestinal wall and migration to the heart has been visualized; however, the identity of the cells harboring the parasite has yet to be determined.  相似文献

Although the histology of the intestinal tract of Crocodylus niloticus is touched on in overall studies on reptilian intestinal tract, a more comprehensive light microscopical study on this area is lacking. Specimens for histological examination were taken from the duodenum, the jejunum, the ileum and the rectum. The data obtained revealed that the mucosa is thrown into folds and simple, slightly branched tubular intestinal glands. The mucosal folds diminished in height and eventually disappeared upon reaching the ileorectal junction. The epithelium covering the folds and crypts was of the simple columnar type. Clear marginal cells, goblet cells and argentaffin cells were observed throughout the intestinal tract. No Paneth cells were seen in this study. The lamina propria was rich in lymphocytic infiltrations while the muscularis mucosa consisted mainly of an outer longitudinal layer, the inner circular layer being rudimentary or absent. The submucosa was extremely narrow, and the circular and longitudinal layers of the tunica muscularis contained distinct layers of dense fibrous connective tissue. The histology of the intestinal tract of C. niloticus is shown to be in line with the situation in crocodilians and also exhibits a resemblance to that of carnivorous mammals.  相似文献

The pathology of lesions in the intestines of 48 calves with spontaneous cryptosporidiosis was studied by histological examination and by scanning electron-microscopy (SEM). The animals were 7 to 21 days old, emergency-slaughtered mostly for dehydration and diarrhoea. Identical lesions were observed in the jejunum and ileum. The villi, often infected by cryptosporidia on a mass scale, were shortened, atrophic, markedly curved and shrunk in their ultrastructure, often as a result of the regression of groups of enterocytes with cryptosporidia, the adjacent tissue being affected, at the same time, by nodular hyperplasia. The enterocytes harbouring the protozoans exhibited cuboidal up to squamous metaplasia; in ultrastructure they had not hexagonal shape and showed signs of microvillus regression. The cryptosporidiosis of the small intestine was always accompanied by hyperaemia and inflammatory reactions in lamina propria, mostly non-purulent, with numerous eosinophils. Signs of typhlitis in the caecum--more frequent and intensive than in other parts of the large intestine infected by cryptosporidia--were characterized, in most cases, by lesions in the covering epithelium and by mostly non-purulent inflammatory infiltration with a large admixture of eosinophils in lamina propria. No inflammatory lesions were found in the colon and rectum. Severe cryptosporidial infections of large parts of intestine and the nature of pathological lesions lead to a considerable reduction in the total absorption surface of the intestine and are potential causes of diarrhoea from malabsorption.  相似文献

The light microscopic appearance and ultrastructure of the nasopharyngeal tonsil (tonsilla pharyngea), collected from 12 adult buffaloes of local mixed breed, were explored for the distribution of different types of epithelia, lymphoid tissue and high endothelial venules. The tonsillar mucosa was lined by pseudostratified columnar ciliated epithelium having goblet cells. The respiratory epithelium associated with the underlying lymphoid tissue formed the lymphoepithelium. The epithelium was further modified into follicle‐associated epithelium (FAE) characterized by reduced epithelial height, presence of a few dome‐shaped cuboidal cells equivalent of the M‐cells and absence of goblet and ciliated cells. The lymphoid tissue was distributed in the form of isolated lymphoid cells, diffuse lymphoid tissue and lymphoid follicles, mainly distributed within the propria‐submucosa along with the sero‐mucous glandular tissue. The goblet cells of the respiratory epithelium and the acinar cells contained different mucopolysaccharides. Scanning electron microscopy of the surface mucosa demonstrated a dense mat of cilia, island‐like arrangement of microvillus cells, M‐cells and a few brush‐like cells. The transmission electron microscopy revealed the different cell organelles of the respiratory epithelium and the FAE. Lymphocyte migration via the high endothelial venules in the propria‐submucosa was also observed.  相似文献

Light and electron microscope studies were conducted on the nasopharynx and the nasopharyngeal tonsil of 15 young horses. The nasopharynx and nasopharyngeal tonsil was lined with pseudostratified columnar ciliated epithelium and goblet cells. The lymphoepithelium of the nasopharyngeal tonsil was folded forming crypts, the mucosa of which was modified into follicle associated epithelium characterized by stratified cuboidal epithelium, loss of cilia, absence of goblet cells and infiltration of lymphocytes. The lamina propria mucosae of the nasopharyngeal tonsil contained well-developed lymphoid tissue and clusters of seromucus acini. Scanning electron-microscopy revealed a dense mat of cilia covering the nasopharynx and nasopharyngeal tonsil. The follicle-associated epithelium consisted of different populations of microvillus cells in addition to M cells with very short microvilli and a few squamous and intermediate cells. Microvillus cells in the deeper part of the FAE had larger microvilli and their cytoplasm contained a dense population of mitochondria, smooth and rough endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi complexes and lysosomes. The flat surfaced M cell had a more electron-dense cytoplasm and contained small supranuclear vacuoles in addition to the organelles seen in microvillus cells.  相似文献

We report here the interesting case of a 5-year-old male cynomolgus monkey with goblet cell hyperplasia and thickening of the muscular layer throughout the small intestine without exhibiting any clinical symptoms. Necropsy examination showed diffuse thickening of the intestinal wall from the jejunum to the ileum, with an appearance likened to a rubber tube. Histopathologically, marked thickening was observed in both the mucosal and muscular layers in the jejunum and ileum, and slight thickening was observed in the duodenum. Goblet cell hyperplasia with extension of the circular folds and villi was prominently observed. The mucosal surface was covered with a thick mucus layer containing desquamated mucosal epithelial cells, and both the inner and outer muscular layers were markedly thickened due to smooth muscle hypertrophy. Neither macroscopic nor histopathological examination identified any causative factors, such as infection, enteritis and intestinal stenosis, or obstruction that may have caused development of this lesion. Given these observations, this case may simply be considered of spontaneous goblet cell hyperplasia and muscular layer thickening in the small intestine of a cynomolgus monkey.  相似文献

本试验通过日粮中添加丁酸钠研究其对肉鸡小肠黏膜免疫相关细胞的影响.将32只1日龄健康AA肉鸡随机分为4个处理组:A组(对照组:基础日粮)、B组(丁酸钠组:基础日粮 500mg/kg丁酸钠)、C组(丁酸钠 芽孢杆菌组:基础日粮 100 mg/kg丁酸钠 200 mg/kg芽孢杆菌)和D组(丁酸钠 酶制剂组:基础日粮 100 mg/kg丁酸钠 500 mg/kg酶制剂).试验7周后,采用组织学技术研究肉鸡小肠黏膜免疫相关细胞的分布变化.结果显示:(1)与对照组比较,小肠肥大细胞、上皮内淋巴细胞及杯状细胞的形态无明显变化,肥大细胞多存在于肠腺周围和肠绒毛固有层,(2)各试验组的小肠肥大细胞、上皮内淋巴细胞及杯状细胞数均显著高于对照组(P<0.05);(3)各试验组和对照组小肠肥大细胞和上皮内淋巴细胞数均从前向后逐渐减少,十二指肠的肥大细胞最多,空肠的次之,回肠的较少;杯状细胞数则与之相反.由此可知,3种添加剂可不同程度地改善肉鸡小肠黏膜结构,且将丁酸钠分别与芽孢杆菌和酶制剂混合饲喂,效果在一定程度上好于单独饲喂丁酸钠.  相似文献

Developmental stages of Cryptosporidium sp. (Protozoa: Cryptosporiidae) were observed in tracheal epithelium of two groups of turkey poults from a farm in central Saskatchewan. Lesions associated with the parasite included excess mucus, epithelial hyperplasia and metaplasia and necrosis, and macrophage and heterophil infiltration in thickened lamina propria. Infection with the parasite was confirmed by histologic and ultrastructural examination of tracheal tissues.  相似文献
