Abstract

A basic premise of this review is that the traditional agricultural economics marketing research paradigm is of limited value for addressing many of the key marketing issues affecting aquaculture. These issues include how to get consumers to recognize and accept new or slightly differentiated products, and how to design products that more nearly match consumer preferences. Accordingly, we stress an ‘industrial style’ market‐development approach to aquacultural marketing research that emphasizes product differentiation and market segmentation. The focus is pragmatic in that we bring into play managerial strategies (e.g. demand‐function modification and segment development) that are integral to implementing research findings. Empirical studies pertaining to seafood demand and preference articulation are selectively reviewed to illustrate concepts and to highlight research applications.  相似文献

Dinoflagellates of the genus Ostreopsis are known to cause (often fatal) food poisoning in tropical coastal areas following the accumulation of palytoxin (PLTX) and/or its analogues (PLTX group) in crabs, sea urchins or fish. Ostreopsis spp. occurrence is presently increasing in the northern to north western Mediterranean Sea (Italy, Spain, Greece and France), probably in response to climate change. In France, Ostreopsis. cf. ovata has been associated with toxic events during summer 2006, at Morgiret, off the coast of Marseille, and a specific monitoring has been designed and implemented since 2007. Results from 2008 and 2009 showed that there is a real danger of human poisoning, as these demonstrated bioaccumulation of the PLTX group (PLTX and ovatoxin-a) in both filter-feeding bivalve molluscs (mussels) and herbivorous echinoderms (sea urchins). The total content accumulated in urchins reached 450 μg PLTX eq/kg total flesh (summer 2008). In mussels, the maximum was 230 μg eq PLTX/kg (summer 2009) compared with a maximum of 360 μg found in sea urchins during the same period at the same site. This publication brings together scientific knowledge obtained about the summer development of Ostreopsis spp. in France during 2007, 2008 and 2009.  相似文献

采用阴离子色谱-抑制电导检测器测定虾仁等水产品中的亚硫酸盐(二氧化硫)的残留量,样品在碱性条件下经甲醛提取,超滤杯纯化,以KOH溶液为淋洗系统,抑制电流125mA时检测。线性范围为0.1—40mg/kg,相关系数为0.9986,平均回收率范围为80%~98%。该方法检出限(SIN=3)为0.1mg/kg,定量限为4.5mg/kg。本方法快捷、简单、准确,适用于出121水产品中亚硫酸盐的测定。  相似文献

非法、不报告、不管制捕捞(IUU)是相当严重的全球问题,危害了海洋生态系统、食品安全、渔民生计,还造成逃税漏税,甚至跨国有组织犯罪,比如渔船人口贩卖,尤其是男人和儿童的贩卖。为分析IUU捕捞问题,不仅需要了解其发生场所,更需要掌握非法渔获最终如何流入市场。从这一角度出发,以我国对美出口的主要捕捞水产品为例,分析其IUU渔获情况,首先通过量化2014年我国主要输美捕捞水产品(青鳕、鲑鱼、蟹)中IUU渔获的数量比例,继而以我国对美出口水产品供应链为切入点进行研究,发现我国IUU渔获流入美国市场的主要原因为水产品供应链不透明、我国水产品加工来料多为俄罗斯IUU渔获。其次,分析美国近年来打击IUU捕捞的措施,尤其是最近美国通过了《进口水产品应对IUU及水产品欺诈的追溯识别机制》草案,该法案拟采取贸易管制措施对IUU进行打击,更是对我国捕捞水产品出口的巨大考验。  相似文献

Food labels help consumers choose products in line with their food attitudes and preferences. As the market for farmed seafood grows, it is important for producers to meet consumer demand for credence characteristics like safety, nutrition, origin, and sustainability. Consumer preferences for credence characteristics are heterogeneous, and stakeholders in the farmed seafood industry can look to both agriculture and marine labels when they seek ways of positioning their products. In this article, we conduct a review of consumer studies related to mandatory and voluntary labels used for farmed seafood. In most developed countries, mandatory seafood labels include information about species, farmed or wild, and area of origin. Voluntary labels include information regarding sustainability, organic production, animal welfare, traceability, and safety. We point to emerging research topics and possibilities. Challenges related to the labeling of farmed seafood are also discussed.  相似文献

产单核细胞李氏杆菌为重要的食源性病原菌,本研究旨在建立快速、灵敏、特异的检测方法,提高检测效率和检测通量。李氏杆菌溶血素(LLO)蛋白经原核表达后, 制备单克隆抗体, 测定单克隆抗体的亚型、效价及亲和力。柠檬酸钠法研制LLO胶体金试纸条,并对试纸条的特异性、敏感性、重复性、稳定性及模拟样品进行检测,并初步应用于实际海产品的检测。结果发现,制备的LLO单克隆抗体特异性强、稳定性高、重复性佳、灵敏度较高,亲和力好,亲和力常数为4.25×108 L·mol-1。人工污染样品试验表明灵敏度与纯细菌培养物基本一致,为3.0×105CFU·mL-1。将LLO胶体金试纸条应用于500份海产品的实际检测中,产单核细胞李氏杆菌的阳性检出率为2.20% (11/500),略低于国标检测方法(GB4789.30—2010)的2.40%(12/500)和PCR检测方法的2.40%(12/500),三者之间符合率为91.67%。另外缩短检测时间至15 min,检测效率大幅度提高。本研究建立的LLO胶体金检测方法可用于产单核细胞李氏杆菌的快速检测。  相似文献

建立了同时检测海产品中4种烷基酚包括4-壬基酚(4-NP)、4-辛基酚(4-OP)、4-n-壬基酚(4-n-NP)、4-t-辛基酚(4-t-OP)及双酚A(BPA)2类药物的高效液相色谱串联质谱的分析方法。样品经过乙腈超声提取和PSA固相萃取小柱净化后,使用高效液相色谱串联质谱仪测定,外标法定量。方法的检出限(信噪比S/N=3)及定量限(信噪比S/N=10)分别为0.07~0.30μg/kg和0.2~1.0μg/kg,4种烷基酚及双酚A在0.5~300.0μg/L范围内线性关系良好,相关系数为0.991 8~0.999 9,在5~100μg/kg范围内回收率试验通过空白样品加标来实现,平均加标回收率为60%~127%(n=6),相对标准偏差为2.2%~39.9%,该方法可满足进出口海产品中多种烷基酚及双酚A残留的检测需要。  相似文献

In 2010 and 2011, researchers in Bristol Bay, Alaska followed nearly 22,000 tagged sockeye salmon that were caught by 86 selected gillnet boats and delivered unfrozen to tenders anchored out on the fishing grounds. The fish were then chilled in refrigerated seawater (RSW) and transported, usually within 24 h, to a shore-based seafood processing plant, where they were graded using a sensory evaluation method. Handling practices on the fishing boats were documented, along with the distance from the fishing grounds to the processing plant. Fishermen who employed RSW chilling tended to deliver higher quality salmon than fishermen chilling with ice. Fish that were bled at time of harvest and fish that were shaken from the gillnet onto a rubber mat or “salmon slide” were generally of slightly higher quality than fish that were not bled and were dropped onto a hard deck.  相似文献

Aquaculture surpassed wild fisheries as the largest supplier of fish for human consumption in 2014 and is expected to supply the majority of seafood for future increases in demand. Marine and coastal aquaculture, collectively referred to as mariculture, currently represents just 36% of aquaculture production but is poised to expand in the decades ahead. One of the most commonly cited concerns regarding this likely expansion is ecological and socioeconomic interactions with wild‐capture fisheries. While attention has largely been drawn to high‐profile negative externalities from fed finfish and crustacean mariculture, not all marine‐based practices are equivalent. Empirical evidence for the different interactions between mariculture and wild fisheries is often sparse. While negative consequences can arise, positive synergies can also occur. By considering mariculture development in the context of fisheries interactions, we suggest that it is possible to minimize conflicts and maximize positive connections between the two sectors. We provide the first comprehensive synthesis of the interactions between mariculture and wild fisheries, characterizing the types of interactions, evaluating available empirical evidence and identifying where management (sector‐specific and cooperative) can play an important role. We highlight potential effects of mariculture on the efficiency, sustainability, and equity of seafood production and identify remaining knowledge gaps.  相似文献

以海参和鱼糜为试材,在单因素试验的基础上,通过正交试验优化海参海鲜火腿肠配方。结果表明,海参海鲜火腿肠主要原料的最佳配比为:海参添加量3%,鱼糜添加量55%,大豆分离蛋白添加量5%,玉米淀粉添加量8%。按此配方获得的海参海鲜火腿肠,肠体外观均匀饱满,有弹性,切面完整,组织致密,无密集气孔,具有产品固有的灰白色泽和海参咸鲜风味。  相似文献
