A simulation model of the 90Sr dynamics in the soil and stand components of deciduous forest ecosystems with a 1-day step was developed; this model was used to conduct numerical experiments to clarify the mechanisms of the 90Sr behavior. The algorithm allows one to take into account the effect of meteorological, phenological, and physiological factors on the behavior of the radionuclide and simulate different fallout conditions. The results of simulation can be used in the valuation of deciduous forest products. The model is applicable for studying the redistribution of calcium in the stand of deciduous forest ecosystems. 相似文献

Profiles of vertical 137Cs distribution in alluvial meadow soils on the low and medium levels of the Lokna River floodplain (central part of the Plavsk radioactive spot in Tula oblast) 28 years after the Chernobyl fallout have been studied. A significant increase in the 137Cs pool is revealed on the low floodplain areas compared to the soils of interfluves due to the accumulation of alluvium, which hampers the reduction of the total radionuclide pool in alluvial soils because of radioactive decay. The rate of alluvium accumulation in the soil on the medium floodplain level is lower by three times on average. An imitation prognostic model has been developed, which considers the flooding and climatic conditions in the region under study. Numerical experiments have quantitatively confirmed the deciding role of low-mobile forms in the migration of maximum 137Cs content along the soil profile in the absence of manifested erosion–accumulation processes. 相似文献

At present, practical application of the method of biological indication for environmental assessment purposes is limited
by the poor development of formal procedures for interpreting the results of biological indication in terms of ecosystem quality.
Existing approaches to the interpretation of biological indication data on terrestrial, aquatic, and soil ecosystems have
been classified with respect to the increasing degree of their formalization into groups of (1) expert estimates, (2) statistical
treatment of large data sets, (3) multiple biological indication at different levels of ecosystem organization, (4) analysis
of the dose-response relationships, and (5) ecological modeling. For practical reasons, the method of multiple biological
indication is considered optimal for unambiguous identification of the state of impacted ecosystems. This method involves
appropriate data formalization and consistent rules for their ecological interpretation.

The possibility of using the VERT_MIG algorithm in simulation models of the vertical migration of radionuclides in soil is discussed. The algorithm was successfully used to develop models of 137Cs and 90Sr migration for radioactive contamination of different soils as a result of the accidents at the Chernobyl and Fukushima-1 nuclear power plants. The modeling results are given. Prospects for further use of this algorithm and some aspects of using imitation modeling in this area are discussed. 相似文献
