垂枝桑枝条下垂性的遗传分析初报

摘    要:本实验采用枝条下垂的垂枝桑(M.alba Var.Pendula Dippel)为母本,枝条直立的纳溪桑(M.alba.L)为父本,进行杂交和回交.实验结果是:杂交F_1苗木154株,苗干直立,侧枝斜出或平伸,无下垂枝条;回交苗木14株,其中5株苗木苗干下弯,枝条下垂,另9株苗木苗干直立,枝条直立或斜出,无下垂现象.初步表明垂枝桑枝条下垂性受隐性基因控制,纳溪桑枝条的直立性受显性基因控制.

A PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS OF THEINHERITANCE PENDULOUS BRANCHESIN MONUS ALBA VAR. PENDULA DIPPEL

Abstract:Cross and backcross were made with drooping mulberry (Monus alba var. pendula Dippel), whichhas pendulous branches, as the female pent and Na Xi mulberry (M.alba L.), which is character-ized by erect branches, as the male parent. One hundred and fifty - four F1 seedlings were obtained, allof which had erect trunk and up - slanting or horizontal offshoots, without any drooping branches. In thebackcross, 14 offsprings were obtained, of which 5 had crooked trunk and drooping branches and 8 haderect trunk and erect or up - slanting branches., with no branch drooping. Such results suggest that thedrooping, or pendulous, branch character of M. alba var. pendula Dippel is controlled by a recessivegene while the character of erect branches in Na ki mulberry is conditioned by a dominant gene.
